Contact UsDrug Rehabilitation at Kirkland Recovery Center
As drug abuse in and around Pierce County began to escalate, Anne Artman, founder of the Tacoma Treatment Center, realized something had to be done. Anne acknowledged that there was a lack of affordable opioid addiction resources, so she immediately started taking classes for peer recovery trainers. After Anne realized her passion for helping others she was able to obtain a federally-funded recovery grant from the Department of Behavioral Health and Recovery. Since opening, we have found that the most successful outcomes for drug rehabilitation at the Kirkland recovery center are based on a foundation of compassion, shared experiences, trust, and support of the community.
